Pull MTD updates from Brian Norris:
 "Core:

   - WARN (in some cases) when a struct mtd_info is registered multiple
     times; in the past this was "supported", but it's still error prone
     for future development.  There's only one ugly case of this left in
     the tree (that we're aware of) and the owners are aware of the
     problems there.

   - fix potential deadlock in the blkdev removal path NOTE: the
     (potential) deadlock was introduced in a for-stable patch.  This
     one is also marked for -stable.

   - ioctl(BLKPG) compat_ioctl support; resolves issues with 32-bit user
     space vs 64-bit kernel space

   - Set MTD parent device correctly throughout the tree, so the tree
     structure appears correctly in sysfs; many drivers were missing
     this (soft) requirement

   - Move device tree partitions (ofpart) into a dedicated 'partitions'
     subnode; this helps to disambiguate whether a node is a partition
     or some other auxiliary data

   - Improve error handling for partitioning failures

  NAND:

   - General: Increase timeout period, for corner-case systems with
     less-than-accurate jiffies

   - Fix OF-based autoloading of several NAND drivers when built as
     modules

   - pxa3xx_nand:
      - Rework timing configuration to be more dynamic
      - Refactor PM support

   - brcmnand: prepare for NorthStar 2 support (ARM64, 16-bit NAND
     chips)

   - sunxi_nand: refactoring and a few bug fixes

   - vf610: new NAND driver

   - FSMC: add SW BCH support; support common NAND DT bindings

   - lpc32xx_slc: refactor and improve timing calculations logic

   - denali: support for rev 5.1

  SPI NOR:

   - Layering improvements

   - Added Winbond lock/unlock support

Most interrupt flow handlers do not use the irq argument. Those few
which use it can retrieve the irq number from the irq descriptor.

Remove the argument.

Search and replace was done with coccinelle and some extra helper
scripts around it. Thanks to Julia for her help!

The irq argument of most interrupt flow handlers is unused or merily
used instead of a local variable. The handlers which need the irq
argument can retrieve the irq number from the irq descriptor.

Use irq_desc_get_xxx() to avoid redundant lookup of irq_desc while we
already have a pointer to corresponding irq_desc.

Also replace generic_handle_irq with generic_handle_irq_desc() to avoid
looking up irq_desc again.

Pull module_init replacement part one from Paul Gortmaker:
 "Replace module_init with equivalent device_initcall in non modules.

  This series of commits converts non-modular code that is using the
  module_init() call to hook itself into the system to instead use
  device_initcall().

  The conversion is a runtime no-op, since module_init actually becomes
  __initcall in the non-modular case, and that in turn gets mapped onto
  device_initcall.  A couple files show a larger negative diffstat,
  representing ones that had a module_exit function that we remove here
  vs previously relying on the linker to dispose of it.

  We make this conversion now, so that we can relocate module_init from
  init.h into module.h in the future.

  The files changed here are just limited to those that would otherwise
  have to add module.h to obviously non-modular code, in order to avoid
  a compile fail, as testing has shown"

The psw.o is built for obj-y -- and hence this code is always
present.  It will never be modular, so using module_init as an alias
for __initcall can be somewhat misleading.

Fix this up now, so that we can relocate module_init from
init.h into module.h in the future.  If we don't do this, we'd
have to add module.h to obviously non-modular code, and that
would be a worse thing.

Note that direct use of __initcall is discouraged, vs. one
of the priority categorized subgroups.  As __initcall gets
mapped onto device_initcall, our use of device_initcall
directly in this change means that the runtime impact is
zero -- it will remain at level 6 in initcall ordering.

This file is controlled by a tristate Kconfig option, and hence
needs to include module.h so that it can get module_init() once
we relocate it from init.h into module.h in the future.

Note that module_exit() appears to be missing from the driver, so
it is questionable whether it would actually work for a removal
and reload cycle if it was configured for a modular build.

Defining these macros way down in arch/sh/.../irq.c doesn't cause
kernel/irq/generic-chip.c to use them.  As far as I can tell this code has
no effect.
