commit 785171fd6cd7dcd7ada5a733b6a2d44ec566c3a0 upstream.

While the datasheet for the AD7785 lists 0xXB as the product ID the actual
product ID is 0xX3.

Fix the product ID otherwise the driver will reject the device due to non
matching IDs.

commit 2ab5f39bc7825808e0fa1e7e5f0b23e174563467 upstream.

The DT-Property "atmel,adc-startup-time" is stored in an u8 for a microsecond
value. When trying to increase the value of STARTUP in Register AT91_ADC_MR
some higher values can't be reached.

Change the type in function parameter and private structure field from u8 to
u32.

commit baa3c65298c089a9014b4e523a14ec2885cca1bc upstream.

Since AI lines could be selected at will (linux-3.11) the sending
and receiving ends of the FIFO does not agree about what step is used
for a line. It only works if the last lines are used, like 5,6,7,
and fails if ie 2,4,6 is selected in DT.

commit 4f3bcd878f1d3c730fe00f619b7260c6125d49eb upstream.

at91_adc_get_trigger_value_by_name() was returning -ENOMEM truncated to
a positive u8 and that doesn't work. I've changed it to int and
refactored it to preserve the error code.

commit 467a44b0372d8268ce5bd90e58bde7db51c1d476 upstream.

Trying to use the at91_adc driver while not using device tree is ending up in a
kernel crash:

Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 00000004

[<c022acdc>] (kernel_init) from [<c0009670>] (ret_from_fork+0x14/0x24)

This is because the at91_adc_caps structure is mandatory but is not filled when
using platform_data. Correct that by using an id_table. It ensues that the
driver will not match "at91_adc" anymore but it was crashing anyway.

In kernel version 3.13, devm_regulator_get() may return no error
if a regulator is undeclared. regulator_get_voltage() will return
-EINVAL if this happens. This causes the driver to fail loading if
the vref regulator is not declared.

Since vref is optional, call devm_regulator_get_optional instead.
