commit 84edec86f449adea9ee0b4912a79ab8d9d65abb7 upstream.

The datasheets have the following note for the conversion time
specification: "This parameter is specified by design and/or
characterization and it is not tested in production."

Parts have been seen that require more time to do 14-bit conversions for
the relative humidity channel. The result is ENXIO due to the address
phase of a transfer not getting an ACK.

Delay an additional 1 ms per conversion to allow for additional margin.

commit 5c49056ad9f3c786f7716da2dd47e4488fc6bd25 upstream.

One of a class of bugs pointed out by Lars in a recent review.
iio_push_to_buffers_with_timestamp assumes the buffer used is aligned
to the size of the timestamp (8 bytes). This is not guaranteed in
this driver which uses an array of smaller elements on the stack.
As Lars also noted this anti pattern can involve a leak of data to
userspace and that indeed can happen here. We close both issues by
moving to a suitable structure in the iio_priv() data.
This data is allocated with kzalloc so no data can leak
apart from previous readings.

Explicit alignment of ts needed to ensure consistent padding
on all architectures (particularly x86_32 with it's 4 byte alignment
of s64)

Fixes: e4a70e3e7d84 ("iio: humidity: add support to hts221 rh/temp combo device")

commit 342a6928bd5017edbdae376042d8ad6af3d3b943 upstream.

The IIO_HUMIDITYRELATIVE channel was being incorrectly reported back
as percent when it should have been milli percent. This is via an
incorrect scale value being returned to userspace.

commit 0145b50566e7de5637e80ecba96c7f0e6fff1aad upstream.

Before this commit sensor_hub_input_attr_get_raw_value() failed to take
the signedness of 16 and 8 bit values into account, returning e.g.
65436 instead of -100 for the z-axis reading of an accelerometer.

This commit adds a new is_signed parameter to the function and makes all
callers pass the appropriate value for this.

While at it, this commit also fixes up some neighboring lines where
statements were needlessly split over 2 lines to improve readability.

The old code was based on a DHT11 datasheet which specifies a measurement
range of 20%-90% RH. Turns out the sensor actually reports values outside
this range, so we should support it as far as possible.
