Pull VDSO infrastructure updates from Thomas Gleixner:

 - Consolidate the VDSO storage

   The VDSO data storage and data layout has been largely architecture
   specific for historical reasons. That increases the maintenance
   effort and causes inconsistencies over and over.

   There is no real technical reason for architecture specific layouts
   and implementations. The architecture specific details can easily be
   integrated into a generic layout, which also reduces the amount of
   duplicated code for managing the mappings.

   Convert all architectures over to a unified layout and common mapping
   infrastructure. This splits the VDSO data layout into subsystem
   specific blocks, timekeeping, random and architecture parts, which
   provides a better structure and allows to improve and update the
   functionalities without conflict and interaction.

 - Rework the timekeeping data storage

   The current implementation is designed for exposing system
   timekeeping accessors, which was good enough at the time when it was
   designed.

   PTP and Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) change that as there are
   requirements to expose independent PTP clocks, which are not related
   to system timekeeping.

   Replace the monolithic data storage by a structured layout, which
   allows to add support for independent PTP clocks on top while reusing
   both the data structures and the time accessor implementations.

Add the remaining SHF_ flags, as listed in the "Executable and
Linkable Format" Wikipedia page and the System V Application Binary
Interface[1]. This allows drivers to load and parse ELF images that use
some of those flags.

In particular, an upcoming change to the Nouveau GPU driver will
use some of the flags.

elf.h had a comment saying:
&gt; Notes used in ET_CORE. Architectures export some of the arch register
&gt; sets using the corresponding note types via the PTRACE_GETREGSET and
&gt; PTRACE_SETREGSET requests.
&gt; The note name for these types is "LINUX", except NT_PRFPREG that is
&gt; named "CORE".

However, NT_PRSTATUS is also named "CORE". It is also unclear what
"these types" refers to.

To fix these problems, define a name for each note type. The added
definitions are macros so the kernel and userspace can directly refer to
them to remove their duplicate definitions of note names.

This allows a tracer to control the ABI of the tracee, as on arm64.
