2021-12-23powerpc/mm: Add __init attribute to eligible functionsNick Child1-2/+2
Some functions defined in 'arch/powerpc/mm' are deserving of an `__init` macro attribute. These functions are only called by other initialization functions and therefore should inherit the attribute. Also, change function declarations in header files to include `__init`. 2021-12-09powerpc/kuep: Remove 'nosmep' boot time parameter except for book3s/64Christophe Leroy1-10/+0
Deactivating KUEP at boot time is unrelevant for PPC32 and BOOK3E/64. Remove it. It allows to refactor setup_kuep() via a __weak function that only PPC64s will overide for now. 2021-12-09powerpc/44x: Activate KUEP at all timeChristophe Leroy1-7/+1
On 44x, KUEP is implemented by clearing SX bit during TLB miss for user pages. The impact is minimal and not worth neither boot time nor build time selection. Activate it at all time. 2021-06-30powerpc/4xx: Fix setup_kuep() on SMPChristophe Leroy1-1/+5
On SMP, setup_kuep() is also called from start_secondary() since commit 86f46f343272 ("powerpc/32s: Initialise KUAP and KUEP in C"). start_secondary() is not an __init function. Remove the __init marker from setup_kuep() and bail out when not caller on the first CPU as the work is already done. 2021-06-17powerpc/44x: Implement Kernel Userspace Exec Protection (KUEP)Christophe Leroy1-0/+13
Powerpc 44x has two bits for exec protection in TLBs: one for user (UX) and one for superviser (SX). Clear SX on user pages in TLB miss handlers to provide KUEP.
