2021-09-15media: rockchip/rga: fix error handling in probeDan Carpenter1-5/+22
[ Upstream commit e58430e1d4fd01b74475d2fbe2e25b5817b729a9 ] There are a few bugs in this code. 1) No checks for whether dma_alloc_attrs() or __get_free_pages() failed. 2) If video_register_device() fails it doesn't clean up the dma attrs or the free pages. 3) The video_device_release() function frees "vfd" which leads to a use after free on the next line. The call to video_unregister_device() is not required so I have just removed that. [ Upstream commit 0314339a0a49f4a128b61e5e1a0af1df6e64a186 ] Commit dd8088d5a896 ("PM: runtime: Add pm_runtime_resume_and_get to deal with usage counter") added pm_runtime_resume_and_get() in order to automatically handle dev->power.usage_count decrement on errors. Use the new API, in order to cleanup the error check logic. 2020-07-04media: rockchip: rga: Only set output CSC mode for RGB inputPaul Kocialkowski1-1/+7
Setting the output CSC mode is required for a YUV output, but must not be set when the input is also YUV. Doing this (as tested with a YUV420P to YUV420P conversion) results in wrong colors. Adapt the logic to only set the output CSC mode when the output is YUV and the input is RGB. Also add a comment to clarify the rationale. 2020-07-04media: rockchip: rga: Introduce color fmt macros and refactor CSC mode logicPaul Kocialkowski2-13/+15
This introduces two macros: RGA_COLOR_FMT_IS_YUV and RGA_COLOR_FMT_IS_RGB which allow quick checking of the colorspace familily of a RGA color format. These macros are then used to refactor the logic for CSC mode selection. The two nested tests for input colorspace are simplified into a single one, with a logical and, making the whole more readable. 2019-02-18media: rockchip/rga: Correct return type for mem2mem buffer helpersEzequiel Garcia1-3/+3
Fix the assigned type of mem2mem buffer handling API. Namely, these functions: v4l2_m2m_next_buf v4l2_m2m_last_buf v4l2_m2m_buf_remove v4l2_m2m_next_src_buf v4l2_m2m_next_dst_buf v4l2_m2m_last_src_buf v4l2_m2m_last_dst_buf v4l2_m2m_src_buf_remove v4l2_m2m_dst_buf_remove return a struct vb2_v4l2_buffer, and not a struct vb2_buffer. 2018-06-28media: rockchip/rga: Fix broken .start_streamingEzequiel Garcia1-22/+23
Currently, rga_buf_start_streaming() is expecting pm_runtime_get_sync to return zero on success, which is wrong. As per the documentation, pm_runtime_get_sync increments the device's usage counter and return its result. This means it will typically return a positive integer on success and a negative error code. Therefore, rockchip-rga driver is currently unusable failing to start_streaming in most cases. Fix it and while here, cleanup the buffer return-to-core logic.
