2024-04-16ASoC: mediatek: mt8186: Unify mt8186-mt6366 machine driversAngeloGioacchino Del Regno1-20/+4
Copy the few differences from mt8186-mt6166-da7219-max98357 in the mt8186-mt6366-rt1019-rt5682s driver to greatly reduce code duplication; since now the driver is meant to support MT8186 with the MT6366 PMIC codec and various combinations of I2S codecs, rename the driver to mt8186-mt6366 for consistency with MT8195 and MT8188, and rename the configuration option to SND_SOC_MT8186_MT6366. Since right now there is no machine using the da7219-max98357 yet, the snd_soc_dapm_route array was omitted as it's now possible to specify the audio routing in device trees instead. While at it, also add the missing sentinel comment to the last entry of the of_device_id array. 2022-04-08ASoC: mediatek: mt8192: support rt1015p_rt5682sJiaxin Yu1-0/+1
Add support for using the rt5682s codec together with rt1015p on mt8192-mt6359 machines. All configurations are shared with the rt5682 codec variant, so simply select the SND_SOC_RT5682S config to ensure the codec is present and set the correct card name. The codec will be linked to by pointing to it in the headset-codec property in the devicetree. While at it, also create macros for the names of the different codec variants supported by this driver, as well as rename occurrences of rt1015p_rt5682 to rt1015p_rt5682x, since they are shared between rt5682 and rt5682s. 2020-11-11ASoC: mediatek: mt8192: skip first time data at the beginning of DMIC recordingJiaxin Yu1-0/+1
We can choose to drop away any length of data from the beginning according to project needs. Some projects don't want to throw away any data, because they want to use recorded data to do echo cancellation, so they have to make sure that they are aligned with the reference data as much as possible. Or there are other algorithms in the upper layer to eliminate this noise. Or some projects want to eliminate this noise form the kernel layer. However, the minimum recommended value is 50ms to skip pop noise.
